Miwako Isano sends Greetings from Japan. California Opera celebrates the holidays in fond reflections on Miwako's outstanding performances in the title role of Madama Butterfly and of the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors and as the Mother, Sandman, and Witch in Hansel and Gretel, among many others.
